How Bail Bonds Work
A bail bond is a guaranteed payment for the whole bond amount, allowing you to pay to get out of jail until your court date.
San Marcos Bail Bonds will help you secure a bail bond and get you or your loved one out of jail.
The Bail Bond Process in San Marcos
The magistrate/judge comes every day between 8am and 12pm. The person in jail will need to be fully booked into jail before seeing the magistrate/judge. The person in jail will not be allowed to ask or answer any questions to or from the magistrate/judge.
The magistrate/judge will set the bail bond amount. Once the bail bond amount is determined by the magistrate/judge, we can then quote you a price for the bond.
In order to be released from jail, you will need an indemnitor/co-signer. Your indemnitor/co-signer will have to pay a bond fee.
The co-signer can then come to our location to complete the necessary bail bond paperwork. San Marcos Bail Bonds will then turn that bond into the jail to get you released.
We're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The jail closes at 6pm, so all paperwork will need to be submitted before that time for a release that day.
